All I can hear is the motor on this fountain. I can’t hear the running water. I am disappointed, I was looking forward to receiving this cute little fountain. I am wondering if I got a defective motor. I will get a replacement and change my review if the next one is better. As is I don’t think it is worth the price. Looks wise I love it and it’s pretty compact, it will fit nicely on my desk.Update: I got a replacement and the new one is even louder! I can’t believe it. I tried everything to see if I was doing something wrong, I tried filling the water at different levels, turning the motor different directions, I tried turning it to - &+, I tried a few usb bricks, and nothing worked. They are both being shipped back. I could not stand to have this plugged in. If you are deaf then this is the perfect fountain for you!

My boyfriend and I have come to love these little fountains. The sound is ideal for helping us sleep. It’s relaxing and the fountain itself gives our bedroom a fun look - it’s a little bit of nature right beside our bed. We’ve had a few over the past few months, but this one has quickly become our favorite. It’s a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s actually perfect for the nightstand, which is where we decided to keep this one. The colors are vibrant and the frog is adorable. I love the ladybug too - which represents good luck, by the way! The standout feature of this cute little fountain is the actual fountain - it sounds so relaxing without being obnoxious like some other fountains we have (we have one that’s incredibly loud - especially for such a small pump). The little light on this fountain gives it a fun glow. It’s easy to assemble, easy to clean, and easy to refill the water when needed. The rocks are a nice touch and makes it feel a bit more outdoorsy. Overall we’re very happy with it, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a small fountain with big features - the bold, shiny metallic colors is really what makes it unique! Whether you’re looking to treat yourself or to purchase this as a gift, it’s an excellent choice!

When I ordered this, I was a bit skeptical about the overall design. I’m glad I took a chance. This fountain works great. The pump is powerful enough to create a nice flow of water. There is a good supply of river rocks included. I happen to like the sound of water, so I prefer a fountain which creates more sound. I placed several of the river rocks in each flower petal. By creating a “dam” where the water exits the petal, the flow can be partially redirected. This creates more than one stream and some drips off the side, both of which increase and vary the sounds of the falling water. I’ll probably add more stones or glass beads/rocks, since I’ll need them to replace what I put in the petals in order to fill up the base. I might try adding some food coloring to the water, but I’m not sure if that will affect the pump. Despite the fact that I thought the colors might be too gaudy, I actually like this quite a bit. I would highly recommend this as a gift for a teen, for a coworker, or even as a housewarming gift.

This fountain is so beautiful!! First thing was that the motor did not come with the little round suction feet on it. Which I thought okay we can manage with out.I got it put together and was so pleasantly surprised with the water noise. I have a few other water fountains and they just are not strong enough or not designed well enough to provide the waterfall noise I’m looking for. However this one does. But then I noticed the motor was making such a loud noise. I thought well maybe it has to run awhile and get broken in - well that did not work. I made sure each and every day the water was full. To full in fact because when it’s too full the water begins to splash out.But no matter how much I love this fountain the motor finally got to be too much for everyone else in the home and we had to turn it off.I am very saddened over it because I can not express how beautiful this fountain truly is. And if the motor was quiet then you would have the gorgeous water noise that most are looking for and this would be more than a 5 star product.
