This was simple to use and as long as you have room to swing your hammer AND your prop isn't seized up or corroded onto the shaft, it works. Now, it did take about 15 hits and it doesn't pop off, but rather the prop comes slowly. I suggest you mark the shaft at the back of the prop so you can tell if it is coming. That mark will also be useful on the install to know your key isn't bunched up.For what it was worth, my prop repair guy told me the c-clamp works better if you follow the instructions to tighten and knock and continue the process. But this did the job.

Tool worked exactly as advertised. Used it to remove a prop off of a Centurion Fi23. Took five hard hits with a three pound mallet.

Works with a bit of beating and it finally came off. WD40 or a bit of lube after what felt like 50 awkward angle blows with a 2.5# sledge. Small and easy to use tho. I should have purchased the C clamp style as there may be a situation that we would need to pull the prop while in the water and this one would make a difficult task even worse. We houseboat at lake Powell and if we dinged a rock while we are 30 miles from the marina this product would not be ideal to swing a sledge hammer under 2 feet of water. 2016 Heyday 5.7 crusader engine and V drive.

It takes a lot for me to write a review. This thing works. I tried a hammer and piece of wood, a hammer and piece of aluminum bar and for hours nothing. I screwed on the harmonic puller not thinking much would happen. three medium strikes with a hammer and it pops loose. I was amazed !! If you have a boat then buy this. nuff said.

Got my prop removed from ski boat but looked pretty beat up when finished The metal is soft and shows dents from hammer strikes Still cheaper than a puller. I’m not sure if I’ll need to remove prop again unless I damage it at lake. It works🥴

Tried multiple times. Even had a friend read instructions and confirm I was following correct procedure. No luck. It never came loose. Had to use a traditional puller. I have a 2001 boat with 1 1/8" shaft. My problem may have been the fact that my prop had never been removed or even attempted to be removed. So maybe the 18 years may have been the issue.

I'm not much of a review person, but this product needs one. There are mixed reviews of this harmonic prop puller, so I was a little hesitant to buy. So glad I did. Three good whacks with the hammer, and off it came. Couldn't have been easier. 100% reccomend. 2006 Ski Nautique

Overall this is a good product. Especially if you plan on only needing it occasionally. It took several minutes of striking for it to work and it is important to hit it straight on. I am not sure if it took longer because my prop was stuck, but the key is to be patient and persistent. Threading it was a little difficult but that is important too. It has to be threaded all the way on for the harmonics to work.
