Bought this as a replacement for a lost back. Received it and it looked in split condition and well made. Only problem is it doesn't work with the pin I have. When I first tried it it didn't grab the pin. Just fell right off. Then after a few tries it just stopped accepting the pin. The release would push back and then the spring would push the pin back out like maybe something shifted inside. Junk

I broke the chain on a tie tack clutch. The tie tack itself was fine. I just needed a replacement. I ordered this and it appears to be identical to the one that I broke. It works just like he original.If I break another tie tack clutch with chain, I wouls definitely order this one again.

Broke on first use. Easily repaired. Broke on second use, waiting on me to find time to repair again. Will continue repairing because it's the only one I have. Appears to be made well made, I think I'm just hard on mine. In their defense, I don't have another tie tack to test with it, and the post might be a little thick, but it's almost impossible to remove from the clutch.

Shipped quick and worked like a charm (See what I did there?). A few months ago, I lost the clutch to my grandfather's tie pin. Now I can wear it with pride again. I highly recommend this seller.

I purchased this item to replace a lost clasp and found this item to be a great replacement, good fit and well made. Also a good solution for converting a lapel pin to be securely worn as a tie tack. Highly recommended.
