This is a great set for little toddlers. It is made of blow molded plastic with is both lightweight and durable. It was pretty easy to assemble with simple instructions. Its sturdy feeling and doesn't have any sharp edges or corners to worry about. Because its all plastic, it is much easier to clean too.

This set is really adorable, solid, and great quality. The instructions are not so much step by step as they are "just look at the picture and figure it out", but it's not difficult. There are several smaller bolts, and some large bolts, all plastic. Then there is a squiggly looking bit of plastic that is actually what you use to screw the plastic bolts in. There are four rubber stoppers that you pop onto the bottom of the easel. I ordered the yellow set, and the colors are perfect and bright while still being toned down enough to go with neutral decor. I love the size of it, I think it's absolutely perfect for young children. I also found that the chair can be sat inside the back of the easel if you needed to move it out of the way and make it a little more compact when it's not in use.

Assembly was pretty easy and the entire unit is made of durable, molded plastic. Even the screws holding it together are big, plastic pieces. That makes it light enough to carry easily. The dual function as a desk with bookshelf and marker board is so nice. The storage bin below is also very convenient for keeping markers, coloring books, etc. My 2 year old is the perfect size for this, but I know my 5 year old will be using it as well.
