I was very disappointed in this for my kitchen floors. The grout did not come any cleaner nor did the tile itself any more than using much less expensive methods. I've used baking soda, other cleaners, "pink stuff", and floor cleaners and this did no better (actually worse) than other methods. The tile did appear cleaner, but no different than my usual cleaning supplies. The grout was not any better. Although fairly easy to apply and didn't have too bad of a smell (it does have some odors but it goes away fairly quickly), I can't recommend this product at this price point.

I was originally thinking of using this in my 60's basement bathroom on the original shower which is in surprisingly good condition but needed to be resealed. I contacted EnduroShield asking if this was a sealer or if I should re-seal the shower first, and they replied that this is NOT a sealer and if I wanted to use it there I should re-seal it first. It didn't say it was a sealer anyway but the description makes it sound like one so I'm glad I asked.In the end I decided to use it in my main bathroom instead. I redid my main bathroom several years ago and used a quartz aggregate grout that is already waterproof and isn't supposed to be used with a sealer. It has been difficult to clean and gets mildewy fast which is super annoying since I can't seal it. I decided to deep clean it until it was sparkling and then apply this stuff, and that has been a great decision. It went on well and definitely has been making cleaning easier.The kit comes with everything you need and although it seems like a small amount, it was enough to do a regular sized shower/tub combo. The directions were clear and I didn't think it was hard to apply. I like it well enough that I think I'm going to order more for the basement shower, plus try their glass product for the shower enclosure.

This is a pretty simple application, but you'll need to fully clean everything you're applying it to. I would think this is probably best to be used on a newer install since it will seal everything in once it's applied.

Cleans and Protects well and very simple to use just spray and let it do its thing-keeps grout and tiles clean for several months.

Just like with any paint job the prep work is very important. As it states in the instructions especially with older tile and grout you must first clean the tile and grout using your regular cleaners. You need to get rid of any mold or algae buildup before you start. You then use the #1 prep bottle spraying a small area at a time and wiping it in. After finishing with the #1 prep you move on to step two. Applying the Enduroshield treatment spray. Again, working in a small area at a time you spray it on and wipe it in. After that you let it dry for eight hours and then water just beads up on the surface and clean up is much easier. After it is applied you should not use abrasive cleaners or it could damage the effectiveness.

There is a two-step cleaning process followed by the sealant.I'm assuming that they want you to use your regular cleaner to get rid of grease and soap scum, and then use THEIR cleaner to get rid of any residue from YOUR cleaner. Makes sense.The sealant went on easily and works so far--water beads on my kitchen counter and nothing sticks.Only time will tell how it will hold up, and I can't tell yet whether it is functionally different from any other sealant that I would buy at the box store.But so far, everything is as promised. And for the price, I really hope it will outperform the more reasonably-priced competitors. I'll update if it disappoints.
