I've been useing it to level out sand useing a big piece of vinyl tile that's permanently affixed to this unit. It makes it easier to clean up and relevel sand for playing in. It's something that is out of the box thinking for my sand leveling and it's been working great so far. And since you use an old Dewalt battery, you are repurposing old equipment for new projects. Not bad of a win.

I have a lot of tile to put down, I will be using this when I put my basement tile floor down, I love this uses my exisiting Dewalt 20V batteries.

This works well and as described but I found the one page of instructions included in the box a bit lacking and had to refer back to the amazon product description to get more details.

I am getting ready to tile my second bathroom but I wanted to test it out when it was delivered. I attached the suction cup to my kitchen counter and had a heck of a time getting it off. I’ve watched a couple of videos on how to use this and I am excited to give it a try. From what I can tell this is going to be a game changer in my next tile job.

We are about to start on yet another tiling product. I found this product on Vine and did some research having never seen this tool before. Brand name tile leveler tools can set you back hundreds of dollars. This one uses a De Walt battery so if you have De Walt tools around, you won’t need to buy a new battery for this (it doesn’t come with a battery).So after reading and watching videos about how to use this type of tool and how highly recommended they are, particularly for installing large format tile, we decided to purchase it. On receiving it and taking a look, it appears that it will be relatively easy to use. You can use the suction cup on front to pick up and position large tile, and then use the 8-speed vibrating function to knock down the mortar on the back of the tile to ensure adhesion.If you are going to be doing a lot of tiling using large tiles, it may be worth the investment and at this price, it may be a good choice for the beginner rather than investing a lot of money in a top of the range model.

There are a bunch of different useful tools that you can get to run off of your existing drill batteries. If you use 20 V max DeWalt products, you already have the battery to run this product. It is very inexpensive, and can be quite useful. Might even be worth picking up a battery, and a charger just to use with this tool. It is very easy to use, and really helps level tile when using thick mud, or floor glue. After attaching a battery, just press it to a freshly laid tile, and pull the trigger. This thing vibrates so intensely it shakes the house. Be careful how you use it, you may cause unintended damage to something else. Very powerful tool, very inexpensive, works great, highly recommended.
