I don't have any tile or glasses but it suctioned to the bottom of a plate just fine. It vibrates intensely. Has a level. I love this thing. With the case, two batteries, and charger this is well worth the money. They definitely got the branding on this right as well. This thing is powerful. I can't wait to do some DIY tile work with this bad boy. Zero complaints and 5 stars.

This tool vibrates from light to extrema at the squeeze of the trigger ,lifts heavy tile with the flick of a lever and makes your job much easier, sounds like an ad but is vary true. First it is gentle enough for smaller tile with a 5in pad it can be used on 6in tile for setting and seating and has enough power for larger tile . They say it lifts over 100lbs I can verify it lifted a slab of granite at about 40lb+ with ease most important feature is that it will help prevent tile from popping lose after the job is done. My only recommendation would be to use a anti friction plate sold elsewhere on amazon to allow the unit to be slid across areas while in use to keep the pad from grabbing .
