These are very small and light. Not what I expected for bookends. They look kind of silly with normal size books.

I love the bookends but almost didn't get them. Amazon Logistics cannot seem to find my address even with clear instructions attached (in my account info) for how to get here; the addition of my telephone number, and a code to give to the driver. The map shown with the products reflects my name and address superimposed over the lady's house at the wrong address, however the street map clearly names the street as "Lake." I live on Serenity Lake Drive, and why these people cannot understand the difference in the streets is beyond my comprehension.

I use these to keep my cookbooks upright on the kitchen countertop in the corner. There is very little room to spare and these work well. They are built solidly so I'm expecting them to survive longer than I do.

I purchased several different bookends for a new bookcase. Some marble, some wood, different shapes and sizes. These Tilisma book ends are the most beautiful ones I have by far. They create a simple but striking arrangement of books. Some have commented on not liking the star, but I actually love it and think it adds some style to them. I’m really happy with these and am grateful I have another set on the way in a different style. Highly recommended.
