When I tried to unscrew the hex bolt with a specialized wrench that came with a kit, the thread on the bolt stripped instantly, making it impossible to loosen the bolt.Why would you tight it up so much guys?! Last purchase from Tilta...

Have handle and cooling system on my ZVE1. Keeps camera cool on 95F summer days. Fan is noisy with camera mount microphone. Need wireless mic on subject fresher away. Camera stays very cool though.

La jaula es de buena calidad, pero no viene el ventilador como dice en la descripción, una sugerencia para el vendedor es que ponga una lista clara de lo que viene, porque en la descripción se entiende que viene el sistema de enfriamiento, cuando no es así.

The cage is similar to the Smallrig, and I got this one specifically because of the attachment for the fan as the ZV-E1 overheats a lot. Unfortunately, the top handle just slides off and doesn’t secure the camera like others. The first day I got it and brought it to a project, it came off and my camera almost dropped to the ground, luckily my other hand was on the lense, but still.It could just be mine but be careful and don’t trust the top handle. It felt secure but I didn’t check it enough.

This comes with no cooling fan. The text ans photos both suggest that it does. Even the reviews suggest it does, it does not. Very misleading.

Well made but a bit small, has built-in connector to their cooling fan option which is helpful. No instructions, not sure what to do with Nato rail, there's 3 screws but not sure how to use them. Pretty much as pictured in the listing. Can't be used with a top handle (which I didn't realize when I got it). Gives some protection.

I've used cages from other companies before but I was shocked with the tilta's quality. It's not even that it fits the ZV-E1 perfectly, it's just extremely well constructed. Especially for the price.

TLDR: 10/10 Purchase. Get it if you want to properly rig out your ZV-E1 and don’t want your camera overheating for those longer shoots.I purchased this cage kit with the fan/baseplate etc., in order to build out the ZV-E1 since I use it in professional commercial/social media production work.Overall this entire bundle is built very rugged and is super versatile, everything about this kit exceeded my expectation's.The cage gives the ZV-E1 the extra size and weight it needs and has all the mounts and holes needed in order for this camera to be built out and rigged professionally. The grip feels very premium on the cage, and the fan has to be my favorite part of this kit; it has a very premium build to it and prevents the camera from overheating in various shooting scenarios; keep in mind you will need a V-Mount battery to power it, or least some kind of power bank since the ZV-E1’s USB-C output does not have enough power for the fan. This by no means is an issue since this kind of fan and kit is for a proper rigged out setup.The baseplate and rail mount is also built exceptionally, its perfect for this camera and the quality is unmatched with Tilta. I will be using this kit for a long time.The only part of this kit I did not end up using is the top handle. Its a solidly built handle, but not enough for the way I rig out this camera. If you are needing a simple non invasive top handle its perfect, but if you want to really built this camera out I recommend a much larger handle. Nevertheless its still a good handle to have handy.Overall; 10/10 would recommend.

Fan was fantastic and did what it was advertised to do. Very well machined/made product and produced exceedingly low noise even with the fan at max. In order for the fan to be usable you do 100% need the half or full cage tilta makes which is also another very impressive cage. Top notch products!
