Eliminates the need to consider grit numbers and such as with traditional sandpaper sheets. I don't know what the grit is actually, but it's perfect for paper and washi tape. The circular shape is great for getting into corners and getting to rounded edges. The handle is very comfortable to hold. The value is hard to calculate, possibly dependant on how much sanding a person does. I've only used 2 disks of of the pack since I bought them in November, but I don't sand things that much.
