Easy to set up and easy to install. Great photos. For the price this is a great time lapse camera.

It is not clear when this camera is actually correctly configured. Two weeks of a construction project went by, no photos. Just bad. I've had several other models of trail and project cams, no issue with those!

I was surprised when I received the package. I thought it would come in a small box, but it came in a very large box and it shows that the device came with all the complete accessories. I am very satisfied with the quality of the device.

A time lapse camera takes photos over time and makes it a long video. Also known as a time lapse. Battery life in not sure but it was easy to use I think. The quality isn't amazing but it's a time lapse camera. Functional ok. One major downside is how it takes like 20 batteries which will die very quick. And if I buy rechargeable it's another 40$.. so this is very expensive

I need to take lengthy videos for my Master Beekeeping certification. I tried to use my phone, which has a good camera, but it's so difficult because I'm wearing bee gloves, and to turn my phone's camera on, I have to remove the gloves every time, press record, then put gloves on, and if I want to stop, have to take gloves off again. I don't like being gloveless around bees when doing inspections. Just would not work - and my phone's screen is not bright enough in the sunshine, so I was making a real mess of everything. So I decided to get a proper camcorder where ease of use is the number one priority. I love this brand (they make great cameras), and the price was very reasonable, so I got this one. I am SO glad I did, for a few reasons. The screen is SUPER bright - standing outside on a VERY sunny day, I could see everything VERY clearly. The camcorder comes with TWO batteries (YAY! means I always have a spare - and don't have to buy the spare!) . It also comes WITH an SD card installed (another plus!) - so I don't have to order one separately AND the lens cap is attached to the camera. My last camer had a lens cap but it wasn't attached and I lost it - so the fact this is attached is GREAT. Now, the big test. I put my bee gloves on and tried to use it and it was FANTASTIC. SO easy! You press the button on the back to take videos.... and if you want to take still photos, you can press the button on the top of the camcorder. The menu is REALLY easy to navigate - I didn't even use the instructions (although I"m sure I will at some point) - there are lots of options - time lapse, slow motion, normal, I experimented with a couple of them but my top priority is to prepare for my beekeeping exam so I tested it on that. I took a video of the apiary, fully zoomed out then fully zoomed in - I will be honest, when fully zoomed in the quality was a little grainy, but I don't know if I"ll ever use it on full zoom. The sound is great, very clear and loud, so when I talk (which is important for these exams), every word will be captured. And getting in close to the frames was very clear, and it's easy to switch between video and photo, without taking gloves off (with gloves off, bees can sting your hands). It is a REALLY super camcorder, love that I can operate it with just one hand (and a gloved hand!) - I can also put it on a tripod, which is important for the exam at times and it has a bright light too, so when I"m showing the eggs on the frames, they are easy to see. GREAT features. And intuitive to use. It comes with a remote control, although I don't know if I'll use that. PERFECT for my exam!!!! No doubt I'll use it for lots of stuff afterwards. Love it.
