They are fairly sturdy. Thicker than I was expecting which is nice. They were smaller than I needed. If I was purchasing again I would definitely get a bigger size.

The boots seemed to be of good quality, but were too small. I wear a size 8.5 W sneaker. The way I understood the size chart, a medium should have fit. However, I couldn’t even get my feet in them. I’m not sure a large would fit. I’m pondering whether to try another size.

These go on over your shoes. They protect your shoes when you pressure wash, leaf blow, or any other task that might require a time consuming shoe rehab. These are like old school galoshes we wore on rainy days when we were children. They also look cool in a retro, funky kind of way.

To remedy I put a pair of slip on shoes in the boot and will leave the shoes in the boots and then I can easily slip on when needed

These over boots are perfect for me to slip on over my riding boots to go grab horses out of a muddy pasture. They are fairly easy on and off, and are solidly waterproof and with non-slip bottoms. My only complaint is that sometimes the button is hard to get fastened completely, and I must struggle with them for a minute or two when I put them on.I am a size 6/7 (36/37 European) and I got the SM. I wish I had gotten (could get?) a smaller size, as they are quite large on my feet. It isn't an issue as I wear them only to bring horses in and out, but if I was to wear them for a long amount of time or in more of a public space (where 'normal' people see you vs at a barn) these wouldn't work as I a) look extremely clownish and b) would trip over the extra 1.5''.--I don't dock stars for this because it was my own decision to order a SM and this doesn't affect the quality of the over boots themselves.

I was leery about buying galoshes online, but noone local sold them. After lots of research I found myself looking really hard at these. They are very flexible, don't weigh much, and allow me to use my own shoes without getting them dirty. DEFINITELY BUY LARGE. I read that it other reviews and found this to be absolutely true. The fold-over closure is a wonderful feature, and uses a big keyhole-and-button for fastening.
