There are three things seriously wrong with this make-up effect. Fortunately for the company, both are easily corrected, but unless or until they are, I cannot recommend this product.1. All four pieces are attached to the same substrate, and separating them from each other is nearly impossible to do cleanly. So unless you want to have all four "wounds" in exactly the same configuration as they're in on the sheet, you'll want to separate them. Good luck! I first tried very sharp scissors, but the ultra-sticky substrate simply stuck to the blades. I then tried a new snap-off craft knife; the same problem. Perhaps it's easier or cheaper to manufacture them all connected to each other, but it's just about impossible to cut the four wounds apart without having the edge of the substrate stick to whatever you're using, to pull it away from the backing, and then stick to itself, producing a rolled edge that ruins the invisible effect. Solution: have the substrate for each of the "wounds" be separate, from the factory.2. Here's how ridiculous the application is: once you've somehow managed to cut them apart, you're supposed to peel the effect and the substrate it's attached to, off of the shiny, coated backing, then turn it over and put it back on the backing, and then apply it to your face (or wherever you want to put it)! This is absurd! I understand that they want customers to be able to see the effect in all its gory, but they're forcing the buyer to trade that appearance for ease of application. I ruined two of the "bullet holes" in this process. And given that it cost $16 for the package, that's the equivalent of setting $8 on fire. Solution: have the pieces already stuck upside-down on the backing, so all the user has to do is to press them onto their skin.3. This one's the easiest: the instructions on the back of the package are laughably tiny. Well, I wasn't laughing at the time; I was cursing. Much of the text is white on glossy black paper, and the letters are literally just over 1mm tall! Having to constantly stop the process to put on my reading glasses in order to read the tiny text, did not improve my mood while having to deal with the problems above. Solution: either have a folded paper instruction sheet folded-up inside the package, or a hinged back with more info inside, or don't try to fit instructions in three different languages on the same package!I'm giving the product 2 stars because once the two surviving "wounds" were in place (which took about 15 minutes), they looked pretty good. If the edges of the substrate hadn't been sticking up slightly above my skin, they would've looked great. But that was impossible to achieve.

The guy who said His didn’t come with the plastic sheet can’t follow basic instructions. He was peeling the appliances off of the plastic sheet that he’s supposed to peel from the paper backing. A child could do it. The instructions on the box are clear and there are great, simple videos on Tinsley s website and on YouTube. It frustrates me so much because a lot of good products get low ratings from people who can’t follow directions.
