I was skeptical at first but this inlet is made with quality. The enclosure is made with precision which looks like it will conform to the low IP rating, even though one is not specified or marketed in this product. I did run a search on the Intertek listing file and I am attaching the confirmation of the compliance testing per UL498. This product is intended for single phase rating up to 125V at 30AMP (continuous, I am assuming). There are (4) 1in knockouts for feeding the line side, pre-drilled which is very convenient. The indication illuminated light is a big plus for this product, since most inlet boxes do not have one. I have not tested this product yet, but overall design of the enclosure and the terminal bock looks and feels sturdy. To be honest, I am kind of impressed by this product design....it's clean, simple, well insulated from outside and from what I read the surfaces are anodized prior to paint. I will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good solution that looks presentable and contains a light to indicate that the device is passing load through it.

I ordered this to use a generator at my camp during power outages. This is a nice quality box that I wished I could use however I need a 4 prong and this is 3 which I didn’t notice before ordering. My mistake is not the sellers fault.
