Only really needed the 14mm tool but the set made more sense in my mind. The Porsche brake caliper on the wife's car required a triple square in 14mm and I couldn't find a decent tool locally. This set included exactly what I needed. Saving $1200 to perform the same job as the dealer (using OEM parts) made this tool purchase a no-brainer.

It's so hard to find the smaller sizes in 1/4 and these work awesome! So far they're nice and sturdy!

Highly recommend for strong accurately shaped bits. Even the smallest bits are very strong. Set comes exactly as pictured.

Kan deze set niet aanraden, eenmalig gebruikt, m10 bit is vervormd en heeft vervolgens de bout gestript.Vermoed lage staal kwaliteit, nog nooit dit probleem gehad met slag/impact bits en doppen.

I bought these to use on an Audi, which at 12 years old the triple squares were solid. My dewalt impact puts out alot of torque, these held up to the punishment and undid the bolts.Very pleased.

These things are amazing. The design allows you just enough more room than the silver sockets with the XZN bit in it. The fact they're one solid piece gives them the lower profile ability to fit in a little bit tighter spots than other XZN bits. I own a German car and these are a necessity doing odd jobs.

I hadn’t even heard of “triple square” sockets until I was watching a video of someone replacing brakes on a VW and I told myself, “Oooo, I need to get some of those”. Do I have a VW? Nope. Do I even have anything remotely German in my Garage? Nope, but I do have an old beer stein that my ex-Mother-In-Law gave me for Christmas one year. Regardless, like any good tool-guy, you buy a lot of tools for things that you juuuust might have to work on in the future so I picked up this set. The tools like very nice, machined well, and just look good—you know how you can hold a tool and tell its inferior? Well these don’t. I’m not a professional mechanic and these certainly aren’t being used daily in a professional shop environment, so I can’t speak to the longevity of these--I’ll leave that to someone with more time on these tools. But, here’s the good part of the story: About a month after I purchased these, my neighbor was working a friend’s Mercedes and came over to my garage asking if I had a tool. Now he’s a handy fellow and has a competent set of tools in his own right, so I was a bit surprised when he was asking if I had something he didn’t. “It kind of looks like a big torx, but it’s not” he says, and I knew exactly what he was talking about. “You need one of these!” I exclaimed like a giddy school girl and showed him this set of bits. He borrowed the set and said they worked perfectly.+5 Man Points for me having a tool my neighbor didn’t and letting him use it, but I guess -5 Man Points for screaming like a school girl. I guess I came out even…that’s a win in my book.
