Please wear some type of gloves, or you will regret it. It appears to be some kind of fiberglass product. It does come with straps. It does the job. You won’t be disappointed for the price.

I installed these on new downpipes I put in my car! I can see my engine bay is definitely slightly cooler because my intake temps don't shoot up like they used to while at idle. I will say I had to cut one side because the downpipe was shorter and I did not like how the wrap frayed. Only time will if it'll hold but so far it seems to be holding up!

Looks identical to the name-brand stuff I've used before (I used to work and do installs/fabrication at a Speed Shop, I've used a lot of this stuff), and it comes with 20, 12" ties to install, plenty to do a set of v8 headers with spares for when you mess up.For those of you who don't know, these will hold both heat and moisture in, so if you wrap mild steel or coated pipes it will likely mess up the finish of those pipes, and a stainless hot side (before a turbo) may get hot enough to split/crack under extreme conditions. Also, a little trick to make the wraps install better/smoother, soak them in water before wrapping. Real world these are supposed to be fiberglass so they shouldn't absorb water but they do, and that makes the fibers slightly more stretchy/compliant and you'll get a better, tighter wrap when it dries. Also, wear gloves or you'll be itching for days after installing these.

This kit is exactly what I needed for my diesel heaters.Wrapped the exhaust pipe to ensure no issues with getting burned or starting a fire.My most surprising thing was the metal ties.... I like how strong they are and have ordered a pack of them for other projects.Shipped and arrived quickly.

This is a good budget option for "Titanium" colored exhaust header wrap. (They are all titanium colored, no actual titanium is used, it's some kind of lava rock) The two rolls come with a bunch of loose stainless steel bands for securing to your header or exhaust. So far it looks similar enough to the expensive brands that this is worth it, if the price is less. You need to soak the rolls thoroughly before installation, and use thick disposable gloves so you don't get the stuff embedded in your hands.This set of two rolls (10 meters each, aka 16.6' aka 200") is enough for 4 header tubes on a motorcycle.It will smell and smoke the first few times it gets hot, this is normal!! Your exhaust pipe will not rust as long as you don't put it away wet, always let the exhaust dry off.
