If you are looking at this J hook bridle, you already know how to use these specialty tools, so I will spare you the fluff. This set is well made of quality steel and capable of the rated loads. The price is 1/3 of the cost locally, however there is no apparent loss of quality in the item. It performs every bit as well as the bridles that cost me 3 times more.It is a great deal for such a useful tool of this caliber. I recommend purchasing.

First: Be sure you know which set you are ordering and what set is in the reviews you are reading as there are currently three in the same listing.I have a tow set bridle as well as a pair that have the chain and various hooks attached and/or included. I use them pulling logs, limbs, stumps, etc around my property and keep them in my truck and van when not in use for emergency situations for myself or others.Getting under my truck to hook up a chain has gotten difficult in my older arthritic age. Having large hooks I can often simply reach under while barely even bending over.I keep one of my sets on the back of my truck along with a log chain for use around my property.Occasionally I need to pull something with my truck from the front so I can better see what is going on especially since my neck issues don't reasonably allow me to turn far enough around to see behind me. Dragging my setup around to the front is just another inconvenience and I don't have anything to hook just a typical chain and hooks to.With these hooks I have, due to the large openings, the option to easily hook to the front and attach one of my shorter chains.For car to car, truck to truck towing these are really nice to have. They can mean the difference between having no place to hook up with the small openings of a typical tow/log chain and the small connection options of today's cars and trucks. With these it is often possible to connect to a tow point without even getting on the ground.These would be great for groups of serious 4-wheelers for easy hook and go but are plenty strong enough for much larger vehicles.Great product. Great value.

These are a great J hook. I do wish it came with a way to connect it to chains, but i got something from the hardware store that worked. Ive used many times on 7500 lb trucks and havent had any issues!

Currently working at a brewery which does some self-distribution. Truck drivers frequently need to pull pallets off of box trucks using long chains and small clevis hooks. Lots of effort needed to thread/unthread chain through pallet base.These hooks make grabbing the pallets MUCH EASIER and FASTER. Unloading effort and time cut in half.Wasn't certain these would fit our needs but both drivers give two-thumbs up!5 star rating for function and cost :-)

Very durable chain bridle. Been using it for a number of applications around my property and find it quite handy. I built a pipe frame "drag" for pulling behind my small tractor to smooth out our long dirt/gravel lane (driveway) and use this bridle to tow it. Works great! Also used it to pull pallets of fertilizer to the back of the utility trailer to offload with the forklift. Very convenient to have around.
