Installation
Spread Adhesive and Insert Clips
After having spread the adhesive, remove excess mortar from tile edges using trowel and insert clips underneath. Depending on the size of the tile, set one or more supports on every side.
Insert Wedges
Insert the wedge in the clip's support slot. Two clips and two wedges are recommended per square foot.
Leveling
To facilitate tile leveling, special adjustable pliers are recommended, although not required.
Clip Removal
After adhesive is set, remove the clips. You may use a rubber mallet or simply kick them out. To ensure a clean break follow the grout lines.

Overall, very good lippage control. I took off a star because the red wedges gouged some of my limestone tiles and scratched the porcelain finish on others. The limestone was easily buffed out, the porcelain not so much. I’d recommend using the protectors with the system so there isn’t any friction on the tile face. I thought it was only necessary if you had older wedges with crusted thinset on them so I didn’t bother. 90% of the time it’s fine, but if you’re a stickler for perfection, get the protecting spacer. Otherwise, it was easy to use and had great results with minimal lippage. Another tip to keep stuck spacers to a minimum is to size down and use U-spacers between the tile so that the clips don’t bind between the tiles. For example, use 1/16 clips with 1/8 inch spacers. All in all, no stuck clips and just a few scratched tiles. They’re a little more expensive, but they definitely work well. It is my new lippage control system.

These lock are amazing and reusable. Great product. In fact, these wedges were used, had mortar left on them, put back in the bag and taped closed, returned and sold again to me. after an hour of chipping and scrubbing they are like new again.

First time laying Ceramic Tile. Upon snapping out with rubber mallet, some broke leaving the tip between tiles. I had to pull out my dremmel tool and clear it out. Overall, was a pleasure. make sure to by the squeeze tool.

It’s the first time I’ve been using the wedges and spaces to go with and it speeds up the job and makes it so much easier to lay once the first ones go down and levelled just watch how smooth the job will go give them ago I recommend to anyone.

I have to admit - I *almost* returned these thinking what was I thinking spending this amount of money on something to lay tile - I mean seriously - people use those plastic x spacers and are laying tile for far cheaper - surely you can too. I even started the return process the day before I was to do the tile. The day I did the tile, after I laid all the tile out dry for the layout I realized I was a fool if I did not use it knowing I had them. So, I opened and used them to complete two bathrooms and what a difference they make - no tile lippage - perfect spacing - these things were well worth the money! No regrets on this purchase - good jobs begin with good tools.
