PerfectPrime TM0300 Laser Thermometer Gun - 1112°F
TM0300 laser thermometer is a non-contact infrared measuring tool for temperature. Featuring dual-laser targeting technology, much greater accuracy can be achieved, with a range from -58°F to 1112°F.

This non contact thermometer is grossly inaccurate. I'm a retired aviation engineer and this is by far the worst non contact thermometer I've ever experienced, even the cheapest Home Depot or even a Harbor Freight model is leaps and bounds more accurate than this awful product. My home according to three thermometers is exactly 74*f This device says it's 63*fRead the manual twice, for good measure I put in a fresh Duracell 1.5v AA primary battery rather than the Chinese AA battery it came with.First red flag is the complete inaccuracy in reporting temps an 11 degree difference is not ok.Red Flag #2 The +/- accuracy as stated in the user manual is not even close to the Amazon description. (had I noticed this, I would have passed on this product)Red Flag #3, the 'adjustable' Emissivity is completely inoperative.Red Flag #4 The laser when turned on is barely noticeable, it's so dim you can see it if you shut the lights off.-This is a neat design for this type of product, but the fact it cannot measure anywhere near accurate is head shaking. Over a ten degree difference between what the temp actually is and what is reported on the display. Only good news is Amazon makes it easy to return defective or products that are useless, this product is both defective and useless.

I bought this to check the temp of the oil when frying fish. I also bought a salt slab for cooking on. The laser temp gauge worked great for that too!! Great little gadget and well worth the low price it costs!!

Not a lot to say, it works and is easy to use. When these non-contact thermometers came out they were very expensive. I wanted one but couldn’t justify the price. I have a project where the no contact thermometer is very useful and for this price they are nearly toys. Useful, fun and cheap.

This seems to work well, and is a comfortable size in my hand, but the display is very dim and difficult to see unless you are in a very dim area. I wish it had a brighter backlight.

It’s a lot smaller than I expected, and only took one AAA battery ( I was a bit worried it wouldn’t hold for long) , but I was wrong, I used it around 20~30 times a day, still going strong after months of hard workTurn on and off really fast, I guess that’s why it won’t need more battery

I had wrote a negative review after using this meter on the calibration. After talking to technical support, I believe the issue has been resolved. If your temp is not comparable to other devices, adjust the “E” valve up or down. You have to quick squeeze the trigger and then do another squeeze while pressing the center button at the same time and the “E” will flash and you adjust that number using the max/min or c f buttons.

Once you figure out how to open the battery compartment..look for a notch on the handle...just plug in the battery and it works great.

Purchased this product to determine the current condition of my hot water heaters in my home, testing to see if they are running efficiently and checking seams around the home to identify where insulation opportunities are.This works excellent. I’ve been able to really button things up thanks to the accuracy of this gadget, and with an 1880 home in Vermont, that’s certainly important when trying to make your heat stretch.

Alvin Ng from Perfect Prime got back to me and did assist me with installing the battery. I used it to check the internal temperature of my Ninja Foodi for air frying. This is a really cool Infrared device that's as much fun as it is functional. I've been testing the temp of everything for no necessary reason except that it's fun. I must of gotten a miscalibrated unit and I am returning it. The unit I got was +5 to +6c on it's readout when I pointed it at my walls, floors or myself. It reads that my hands were 43c (109f). Considering I am still alive writing this review and not in a hospital I would think that is a misreading.Conmiscalibrated - reads +5c over actual temperatureProThe size of the device is niceRunning on a single AA battery is nice a feature. makes for cheaper replacements than a 9V.Screen was clear and easy to read.
