This MIDI interface is used to connect my Roland F50 piano to a version 7 iPad. I am using an app on the iPad to learn musical note recognition. I bought the adapter to connect the standard usb connector on the interface to the lightning connector on the iPad. This works well except if the iPad falls asleep the app quits working and I must restart the iPad to continue. Another Interface I tried did not work. Try to check in advance if your parts are compatible
