I got this for a family member who has severe hearing loss. I had already set him up with in ear headphones plugged in to the tv with an independent volume control for him. We still had to set the TV extra loud so the volume would increase in the headphones. Now with this device the TV Volume can be low, and he can make it loud enough in his headphones. It works so well that he doesn't even need to set it at the maximum volume.

What can I say? This is a very simple device that has one function, to boost the volume level of a headphone output. I added a Bluetooth receiver to my cars sound system that’s connected to the AUX port. The issue is that the volume level of the device is in the low end, which is quite noticeable when switching between AUX and an FM radio station. With this device I was able to get my Bluetooth input device at the perfect volume level. It’s crystal clear and I haven’t noticed any sort of audio noise. It’s also a pretty compact device which makes car installation easier. It comes with a USB power cable as well.

I was looking for a small stereo signal audio amplifier for our small flatscreen TV in our kitchen. The internal speakers for the TV are in the back so there is not much volume. I tried hooking up some small "Logi" computer speakers to the "earphone" 3.5 jack on my TV, but the volume was still not very good. I found this little amplifier online at Amazon and decided to try it out. I hooked the audio amp into the "earphone" jack with a spare 3.5 cord I bought, then connected the output to the spare speakers and I now have GREAT volume! So far it is working great, so I have ZERO dislikes. I would for sure buy this again.

I can barely hear the tv. Voices are muffled. I can crank up the volume but it's never clear enough.The same goes for listening to music. This amplifier raises the volume enough so I can hear the music like I used to. Probably not a good idea for teens... this could cause hearing loss to young ears... but for these older ears, it works great. I recommend using this with a good quality pair of wired over the ear headphones that blocks outside noise. Works great for me

I have loss of hearing in my right ear. I needed a device that allowed me to control balance. Usb sound cards won't let you. This will let me use my onboard audio with enough power for my headphones. Great device. Use the wall plug if you hear hissing.

Great amp if desktop audio is too quite. Its just as good as my Scarlet solo interface in boosting headphone audio. very clean audio. It can be hooked up to a power bank on the go but I think its stretching the word "portable" compared to other interfaces that you can put in the same pocket. I need something a little different with different inputs but for what this offers for under $30, it does its job well

J'utilise ce produit lors des émissions de T.V. ou lors de visualisation d'un DVD .il peut être branche sur la prise ad hoc de l'écran ou sur celle du décodeur TNT . bon fonctionnement. Son très bien restitué, amplification du son suffisante pour un bon casque d'écoute .livré dans le délai prévu, facile à mettre en service, très faible encombrement

Ha durado un mes. Empezó dando el servicio bien, pero al mes la clavija de alimentación se rompió.Edito: El vendedor me ha enviado otro aparato sin exigirle nada y sin coste (obviamente). Un diez por el vendedor. A ver si este segundo dura más y el primero fue defectuoso.

Decent little amp for boosting stuff with low output. Sound quality at high levels is not great with a fair amount of noise (hissing). Works decent in my application (monitor+roku+speakers).

I've been using this for a couple of months now to listen to the TV. I plug it into the back of our Sky box and it gives me enough volume (I'm hard of hearing) to be able to hear what's going on. There is a slight out of sync effect by doing this although the tv itself and it's speakers are in sync. If your TV has an audio out you could use that I would think. Ours doesn't so I had to use the Sky box. Overall I'm very pleased with this little audio amp.

I went in with low expectations, how could an amp so cheap possibly work as intended? Well this product shattered my expectations: it's far worse than I ever imagined.Do you like white noise added to your music due to completely unshielded components? Is your music player too loud and you want to limit the max volume? Then this is the perfect product for you. It introduces loud, obnoxious interference (depending on the source, I got hisses, cracks, pops, and much more!), and makes more noise any time you adjust the audio. The max volume is actually lower than the sources I had hoped to amplify. The build quality falls somewhere between "certain fire hazard" and "high school electronics project."The included accessories are: a power cord."But at least it's portable, it says so right in the title!" Which is technically true, provided you use an external power bank to plug into the micro USB jack (sadly I did not test this feature). There is no battery. There is nothing. This is garbage, made from the remains of a failed product lost to time and thrown away, only to be picked up by accident by a factory worker on his walk home. He placed it in his bag and forgot about it. One day, back at work, it fell out and a manager saw it. "What are you doing stealing products?" he yelled. The man tried to explain, but couldn't get a word in and was fired. The manager didn't know what the device was either, but to save face in front today his superiors he printed some letters on it and ramped up production of the "Headphone Amplifier."There's no branding on the product anywhere, it comes in a blank white box, and it's not even listed on this "company's" website, almost like they're ashamed of it. This is the amplifier equivalent of "Super Band Hero" your grandma got you from Walmart because she thought she was getting a great sale price on Rock Band.Save yourself the money and just have a friend wear your headphones and shout the lyrics to you across the room. I promise it's a much more enjoyable experience.Bonus feature: the power brick is trying to tell me something, but it's in French. No, there is no English translation, yes everything else is in English.
