For the most part, I'm pretty happy with this swim vest. It appears to be well-constructed and seems to be pretty comfortable for our 22 month old granddaughter (obviously she can't give very direct feedback, but she seemed OK with it). We got the small and it's a bit big for her (22 lbs), but she should be able to grow into it.I took a star off because the item description never mentions that it's not Coast Guard approved, though that is very clearly stated on the interior of the vest. That may or may not be relevant depending on how you intend to use it. We've used it in a shallow kids pool as well as somewhat deeper (4.5') therapy pool at our municipal facility and the lifeguards never even asked, but I've heard that some public pools may insist on Coast Guard approval. And of course if you're going to use this in open water, you certainly want the Coast Guard rating.The other negative is that this is really more of life jacket than a "swimming vest." We really need a vest that has the flotation in the front and not the back, and that has flotation "arms" to help a pool newbie easily stay on top of the water to learn to swim. I'm not taking stars away for this because it's clearly covered by the pictures in the item, though the description is a bit ambiguous--the "float jacket" description is probably more accurate than "swim vest."

I’m so glad I purchased the OMYAFL Toddler Swim Vest for my little one! The pink color is vibrant and super cute, and my toddler loves wearing it. The buoyancy support is great — it helps my child feel safe in the water while still allowing them to move and enjoy the swim. I love that it gives extra confidence when they’re playing in the pool.The fit (Small, 1-2 years, 22-33lbs) is perfect for my toddler. It’s snug enough to keep them safe but still comfortable to wear. The floaties on the vest give them just the right amount of support without being too bulky, which makes it easy for them to splash around and kick their legs.The material feels soft on their skin, and it’s easy to put on and take off. It’s a great way to introduce little ones to the water safely, and I feel confident knowing the vest will keep them afloat. We’ve had a blast using it in the pool, and it’s definitely helped make swimming time more enjoyable for both of us!Highly recommend this swim vest for any parent looking for a safe, comfortable, and fun way to get their toddlers swimming!

I ordered the 1-2y size advertised for a 22-33lb child. My daughter is 15 months old and about 22lbs. This life jacket is huge on her and does not provide a safe fit. While it floats just fine, the advertised age and size is not accurate.

This seems like a really nice life jacket. It’s quality is comparable to others we have purchased in the past.I haven’t been able to test its floating ability yet due to the weather but I’m confident it will work.It fits my kids (ages 2-5) well!

We brought my one year old granddaughter to the local YMCA's swimming pool with more than great results. First of all it looked great right out of the package, and looks even better on her. We had no problem adjusting it for a perfect fit. It appears that she will be able to use it for a while.Yes she needed a fair amount of help, but it held her up nicely with no crying haha! My kids were so glad that I got it for her to use when we go swimming. They give it five stars, and so do I. This OMYAFL toddler swim vest comes highly recommended from us!!!

Nice little life jacket that secures between the legs which is absolute necessity at this age. It's light weight and seems like it would be comfortable on. I'll give it the true test this summer but as of now I don't know how this thing could be improved. It looks perfect. Love love love and anxious to try it for real. W were hoping our daughter will more on from floats to trying to swim a little on her own this year. She is almost 1 and a half but by summer will be closer to 2. When she outgrows this one I'll purchase the next size up. I like it that much. Thank you very much for this very useful item. We will get plenty of use out of it and will update the review if there are any issues I don't for see. Thanks
