They kept my kids afloat, tho the crotch straps slipped loose. I double knotted the ends of the straps which took care of that. They did not complain about the crotch straps after 3 hours of wear at a waterpark. The whistles may be a good idea on paper, but my kids can’t blow enough to use them and I will simply cut them off. The range of arm motion is superior to the puddle jumpers. She was doing normal swimming strokes in one day. They aren’t coast guard approved, but they float them appropriately and I am always nearby regardless. I enjoyed the fact that my kids can’t take them off like the puddle jumpers. We switched from puddle jumpers to these because of the range of arm motion. It’s much more natural with life vests

The handle used to lift the child out of the water ripped on 1st use. Pretty scary knowing this could happen in an emergency

We got this for my son to use at our local water park. Helped keep him afloat but we of course had a hand on him at all times. Fit him great and the design is vibrant. Seems high quality and has lasted all summer for us!

This is not approved for boating but it fit well and very comfortable for the baby to wear. Quality is good as well.
