Toddler Swim Vest with Arm WingsI have been putting our family's little ones in this exact type of floaty with arm attachments for many years. It is safe and keeps their heads and chests above the water. The kids learn to kick themselves around the pool which strengthens their legs for swimming and gives them experience in water play.This is the first such floaty that I've seen which has a sort of G-string which goes between the legs, so I don't know how that'll work. I guess we'll find out in June.

Let me start by saying that the title (as of this moment) is inaccurate. It says Neoprene but there is not even a little Neoprene on this vest/jacket. That detail aside, it is a good swimming vest. I wanted one to keep at my house for my almost 4-year-old grandson and it is great for when you're able to supervise but have another little one nearby that also needs your attention. My grandson is on the smaller side for his age but it fits him well and there is definitely room to grow. I love that the buckles have a safety button so that he cannot take it off without help. I also like that it has the strap between the legs so that the vest does not ride up and block his face.

My 4 year old is TERRIFIED of sinking, yet loves to be in the pool. He is generally glued to me but he actually ventured away from me with this life jacket! I have tried to life jackets that have the arm floaties attached to the chest float but none that have the crotch strap and the shoulder straps..total game changer. It fit so well with the adjustable cross buckles in the back. Very secure and I wasn't at all worried about him getting sideways while floating. The buoyancy is perfect, easy to use and strap and it perfectly suits what I need for functionality. 10/10 recommend. If you have a stage 5 clinger, this will change your pool experience tenfold.

This floaty device is an excellent choice for a child’s life jacket. It’s not too bulky, so the child is able to move around in the water freely. It comes with a latch that goes between their legs to keep the life jacket from rising up over their heads. I would definitely recommend this product for boys or girls ages 3-10.
