My husband and I eat a lot of seafood, shrimp being one of the main ones, and this grill pan is awesome! Super easy to use and the shrimp come out perfect every time. Depending on the sauce you use, cleaning the pan can be a little bit of work, but it's worth it.

When Bubba was telling Forest all the ways to cook shrimp, he forgot this one. I'm glad I saw this, it cooks even and faster than my normal method. Nice and heavy and will last a generation.

I love shrimp—who doesn’t—and I’m always looking for different preparations both in the house and on the grill. I looked around and found the TOMO Cast Iron Grill Pan and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its performance. It performs well on the grill and in the oven, but there’s a little bit of finessing to hit on perfectly cooked shrimp. The pan is well-constructed and quite heavy, as cast iron should be. The shrimp fit neatly into the slots and it’s easy to cook off larger batches with 22 slots. The pan comes pre-seasoned which kept shrimp from sticking without any further seasoning. I have seasoned it once in the last four months and it is holding up well. Warm soap and water cleans it and I have a chain mail scrubber for anything that gets baked on.The pan heats very evenly, especially in an oven with no hot spots. The key, especially with delicate proteins like shrimp, is to keep a close eye on them to avoid overcooking. I’ve found that with shrimp, a couple of minutes once the pan is hot (425-450F) does the trick. I get a nice char even in the oven, but I really love the smokiness from being on the grill. I have also cooked jalapeño poppers, asparagus, and peppers, and have gotten great results. The TOMO Grill Pan has earned a spot in my kitchen rotation. It took a couple tries to get the perfect sear and correct temperature, but that was delicious experimentation.

I am very picky about my cast iron, so when I got this I was skeptical. However, it is a nice addition to my arsenal. The box says it comes preaseasoned and it does, but it still requires more. The pan is heavy, and washes easily. It heated up nicely and the shrimp were delicious! My shrimp were smalled than the individual holes, but I flipped them mid-cook to have a good sear on all sides. Honestly, I didn't know there was a Shrimp cast iron grill pan, but I am sure glad I found this one.
