My mantel arrived with a good-sized scratch and splintered support.This mantel is lightweight, which is great if you don't have heavy-duty support to anchor it to. Assembly did take a little bit of time, but using a level helps it go a little smoother.Note: The mantel does not secure into the anchor wall piece. So it's possible to just lift the mantel straight up and off of the anchor at any time. This makes it terrible and a hazard if you live in an earthquake zone.

Extremely happy with this fireplace mantle. A really great value! Price point is so good for what you're getting. It is very easy to hang too as it's hollow so not too heavy at all. My husband was able to get it up no problems at all. Real wood and very nice quality! Stain is beautifully done. It's finished smoothly to perfection. No funky chemical smells here. Even happier with it than I expected. Highly recommend it!

Pretty solid and lightweight real pine wood mantel. Craftsmanship looks and feels pretty well made. Installation was pretty simple to do. Just make sure the bracket is mounted onto a strong mounting point such as the studs or using anchors on brick and mortar fireplaces. Its hollow inside which I would of wished it have small little drawers.

This rustic mantel is beautiful and long. The wood is very lightweight. The installation is easy, not super strong but functional. You may want to add a gloss coat as the wood is rustic and rough in spots. The design is hollow, doesn’t carry much weight but attractive.

This handmade, rustic wood mantel is the perfect addition to our cozy family room. The dark walnut finish gives a classic, farmhouse vibe, and it feels solid and well-built. It’s going to be great for displaying family photos, seasonal décor, or whatever else we decide to highlight throughout the year. The size is just right for our fireplace, and installation wasn’t too tricky. Now that it’s up, it really ties the whole room together. So far, everyone’s commented on how great it looks!

This looks ok but kind of cheap wood. The hanging brick arrived split and so was the side of the mantle piece. It’s hollow so doesn’t provide much in terms of durability
