Overall, this bicycle helmet visor is on par with the removable visors that come with a lot of MTB helmets. In some ways it's better, and in other ways it's a bit of a weird and questionable accessory. Most road helmets don't include a visor, so I can understand why someone would want an item like this, but there's definitely some compromises and room for improvement here. First, I wish the visor was larger, because at 2.5" long it hardly provides any shade to the face. It might be useful if you'd otherwise be blinded by the sun, but with tinted cycling glasses, that sort of protection is really unnecessary for me. The visor attaches to a long adhesive velcro strip that you're supposed to stick onto the front of the helmet. At a full 1" wide, the velcro is wide enough to slightly block some of the vents, and not every helmet will have enough free real estate to accommodate the velcro. And removing the visor reveals the odd black stripe on the helmet right above your eyes - not exactly inconspicuous. The price of this visor is reasonable for what you get, but I'm not sure it's any better than a DIY hack with some zip ties and an old baseball cap, if you absolutely need a visor.
