The product was advertised correctly. The screen is for the "old version" (2013). If you want a screen for your New 3ds XL, you should buy something else.I did a shell swap and unfortunately, I broke the ribbon cable trying to fish it though the hinge. I bought this as a replacement and reassembled my 3ds XL. I have no issues with the screen. Just remember, if you replace the screen, you need to pull off your old glass or buy replacement glass. You will need double sided tape to put the glass over the LCD screen. I recommended tesa tape.The seller was very nice and even checked with me after the item arrived to make sure everything worked. I would definitely recommend this seller.
