The white substance on the bowstring is the bowstring wax, which is used to protect the bowstring.
You can wipe off the excess bowstring wax when using it.

Initial impression is that the string is of high quality material and done very well. One loop larger than the other, as it should be, and neither overly large. Well served, with 8 inches of serving length placed in the proper position. Heavily waxed and packaged in a reusable plastic tube that I will use for my oem string. I'm impressed so far, but will amend my review if anything changes.

Great replacement for my Cajun Fish Stick Bow. My string came defective in the box by Cajun and they refused to replace it and sent me to a bow shop only to tell me they would not warranty it. I had trouble finding a replacement and Cajun was no help in the customer service or tech specs. This string miles above the string that came with my bow and fit perfect at 57 inches.

Honestly for the price this should not be ruled out as an upgrade to any bow that comes with an Endless Loop string. Good quality and much longer serving in the Nock area than the original.

This string is the closest to a home made string that I've ever bought. This is a quite, tough, very very high quality string. Nicely pre waxed and pre stretched string.

I'm not sure what they used instead of string wax but it's very greasey. After every few dozen shots I'd check my brace height and have to wind up the string until it was wound up so much it tried doubling over. Finally after maybe 100 shots I looked at the eye splices and they were about half the length they were when it started. Could've been a catastrophic failure.

No complaints. Well made, priced right, and looks good on bow. Bought 57 in for Arc Rolan Snake bow. Fits perfectly.
