Perfect bag for my full sized hybrid e-bike. Easy to strap on and stays secure under all conditions. Zipper quality is excellent as is the fabric. You pay a little more for Topeak but worth every nickel.

This is a great bicycle bag. You need an existing rack because it straps on with velcro. It is made a quality materials and bits my bike lock cable charger for my electric bicycle and other items as well. On the back of the bag is a pocket for a water bottle however I used it once on a bumpy ride and I lost my bottle so I don't use it anymore.

The bag always looks crooked. This is because there is no way to cinch the Velcro around each side bar individually- you must aging the strap all the way under the rack, buckle it and return the hooked side back . That design inherently leaves lots of lateral play. I will have to modify it for sure, but it would be easy for Topeka to provide each side an independent hook and loop /clip set up for better versatility. The front loops also aren’t positioned in the right place for my rack, so I would make the same suggestion for this area. Not thrilled with the attachment, but the bag is very well make. I’ve bought Topeka for 20+ years and have been very happy with the overall product. I’ve never had a zipper break or any quality problems.

There are no official dimensions or capacities (in terms of volume) posted. The photos cleatly show stowable side bags. IT DOES NOT HAVE THE STOWABLE SIDE BAGS. This was the only reason I chose it. I found this misrepresentation of theproduct.

A great bag that's even better than the original version with a colored interior and a water bottle holder. But, the front straps were too short to fit the rack on my bike.Fortunately, my wife sews and was able to add several inches of velcro to those straps. Without her help I would have had to return it.

The item that is displayed on the site is a Topeak MTX Trunk Bag DXP with side bags WHICH IS WHAT I WANTED.WHAT SHOWED UP was MTS TRUNKBAG EX not expandable and no side bags.Checked the page again and again and sure enough all that is shown is the MTS TRUNKBAG EX.Not at all impressed. What a let down.

It’s a good looking bag with plenty of space but, the front Velcro straps should be the same design as the bottom straps. The front straps are too short to reach the front of the rack. I like the bottle holder and place to attach a flashing light. It’s the best out of what I could find. All these bags could be designed better by listening to the people using them more.

it's nice enough but smaller (lenghth & width) than I expected so the velcro straps for mounting to rack have little extra for securing and it slides around a bit.

Solid built trunk bag. I gave the mounting system 4 stars because I purchased the Velcro type/attachment model,because I already had a rack mounted on my bike and didn't feel the need to purchase the special rack system mounted bag.That being said it's a great bag with plenty of room for a days ride cargo of lunch/snacks and drinks,and other personal items. Product is well made and of durable , quality materials and the velcro straps work fine for my intended use . I am satisfied with my purchase and recommend this bag over the cheaper brands.

The 8 litre Topeak rear bike carrier trunk bag is brilliant, well made and very easy to fit on to the bike. The velco straps on the sides and front will ensure it stays in place.I like the semi-rigid style. The only minor issue is the external net side pockets are not stretchy.Would definitey recomment this bag.
