These are very comfortable, once you get the top piece stretched enough to fit. I actually had to cut a small piece in order to fit well. The material is a felted wool blend. Don't need socks. Bubbles on insole gently massage foot. A little too warm for me. Stability while walking is good, wish they were step-ins instead of hand-assist slip-ons.

Topo are a nice shoe better than most, ample toe room which is hard to find these days, but for me the heel didn't fit right, it was too tight, I am still going to find the right fit with Topo. Thank you for letting try before I bought!

I have chronic left hip pain. My physical therapist recommend consulting a specialty shoe store for good fitting shoes. I tried on several pairs of sneakers and ended up buying a pair of Topo athletic sneakers because the hip pain actually went away in the store when I was testing the shoes. I was so impressed I decided to try the recovery shoe to wear while at home. The reviews said to size up as they ran small. The athletic sneakers just fit, so I ordered one size up and they fit perfectly. They are so comfortable I don't want to take them off. Very happy with the purchase.

Even though I’m not recovering from foot surgery, but I bought 2 pairs each of these gray and black shoes anyway because, when I tried on my very first pair I actually cried out at how great they felt on my feet! Because companies discard models of products their customers love, I knew that it would happen in this case, as well, so I made sure to have them available for my poor arthritic toes for a few years, anyway. And I did the same with the black and gray clogs….I cannot understand why so few companies care about product loyalty and are so happy to leave their customers without products they really love and need. I can’t count how many times I read this in reviews as I was searching for something which would help me.

The toe box is snug, not roomy like I expected. It's very tight across the top, digging in to the top of my foot. I normally wear a size 9W, or a 40 in Birkenstocks, and I sized up to a 10/42 for this and they are still too tight.

Bought these at a great price, $80. They were recommended to me by a couple friends at yoga. They are heavenly. Great fit and very comfortable. Warm even without socks.

The shoes are easy to put on and very comfortable. They are wide enough and fit over my bunions easily since I have wide feet.

These look like slippers and have the comfort of slippers. My feet were in heaven the first time I put them on. I wear them when I walk the dogs or run errands. They look too slipper like to wear to work. If TOPO is listening - please make work shoes. Also, a tad bit more arch support would be appreciated :-)

The fabric used is a linty, similar to a wall sweater. That's a bad idea for shoes.
