Amazing paint for rafts. Tested out a section with spray paint to go cheap and it started cracking and chipping. Worth the extra money for this quality stuff!

A little background about me. I am an A&P mechanic that has done composite and paint work for the last decade. I have painted fabric and metal planes and reskinned and painted composite and and metal rotor blades for helicopters. I am really big on following the instructions on the product and I always do 5 times the amount of prep to application. This project on my boat started with another Inland marine product that worked as advertised which was the liquid rubber. I prepped and applied the liquid rubber as recommended and it successfully came out with no problems. Inland suggested using this topside paint after that so I ordered two cans and started prepping. I sanded the whole boat again, so now I have a ruff surface on a boat that I already reskinned. I applied the topside after cleaning thoroughly with toulene. Since it is humid and in the 60s, I kept the boat to cure in my garage at 70 degrees for 48 hours(it is suggested for 24 hours) and today moved it outside on the trailer. It was a light rain and 55 degrees. After 2 hours outside, condition under the paint was trapped in bubbles all over the top of the boat. This paint will for sure wear of in a couple of days. This was a super disappointing result as their other product worked as advertised. I hope they reach out to refund my money on my order. Other people have had success so I don't know if I got a bad batch or what the situation is. I would suggest for now to start clear though. The results force me to give the lowest rating at this time.Update.... The company did refund my money no questions asked. That is good, but the 1 star remains due to the product. It may be the the batch I got, but I would not recommend this product with the results I had.

Our Inflatable Dinghy is not used much. Just on back of boat on Davits. and bottom of one side that's on top got discolored from being under sun for a year or so. Although this is for top side, the part I painted is inflatable part but water level/under water mostly. Seems to be holding out fine for now. Was easy to put on. I did clean up with Acetone, wash, etc. Happy for now.
