Legs fold easily without over tightening. I used these to hang my large wok and iron skillet on dry wall panel. Plenty strong for that. The threads are only 1/8th inch. Too much torque will twist head off. Just turn until resistance is felt and stop. Fine threads expand legs easily. You will turn many times with screwdriver. Electric screw driver is faster if you don't over tighten. Not hard to turn by hand. Just many turns. Don't go gorilla .

These are the only drywall anchors I use now. I tap them in lightly with a hammer. I have read there is a tool you can use to pull on the screw to expand the anchor, but I just tighten the screw to expand it. I set my drill on low when installing them. If you over tighten them the fingers can break off inside the wall or the teeth on the front will shred the drywall instead of holding the anchor while the fingers expand. I think around 5 out of 24 failed during installation. Go slow and easy and you should be fine. Way better than every other anchor I have used.

If you look for my review on the guitar hangers I recently installed - these are the anchors I ended up using. They work great and have a very low failure rate. Home Depot no longer sells this style - so glad I found them on Amazon.

Totally useless. Not fit for purpose. Did a test on a piece of none enclosed material and the things just twist into themselves and don't collasp. I tried 5 varying torques and different drivers (hand drill, impact driver, hand screw driver) and the results were the same. Save yourself a headache and buy from a reputable brand. Once they twist in a wall you'll struggle to drill/pull them out, ruining your project from the jump.

Although the product title and description state these are 38mm, the product packaging (a plastic bag with a sticker) says 28mm. I measured it and think the packaging is incorrect as they seem to be 38mm.Additionally, the product description states the drill bit size needed (5/16”) but the features & details state no pre-drilling required. Turns out both are accurate depending on your needs but it’s pretty confusing.Note:I also found if you purchase this type of product in a hardware store the packaging will likely be a lot clearer and the price will be about the same! The product quality seems to be the same though.

I use this product for all of my bathroom stuff that hangs on the wall. When installing toilet paper holders, towel racks, and towel rings, you can’t always hit a stud so these really keep things secure against the sheetrock without having to worry about the cheap plastic wall anchors included with the holders.

These are quality drywall anchors at a good value. It's a similar product that I would buy that the big box stores, (the plastic sleeve is a different color..); and they work great. This is my preferred style of wall anchor when studs are not available, however I still always pre-drill the hole (hammering it in tends to distort the wall surface enough to where the anchor will spin in place). Note these are hand-counted and placed in a mailer; I got them in a timely fashion at around 3 days from purchase, but it was 1 short (59 instead of 60). :) No biggie though, still a good buy.

These saved my nerves! I had tried hanging curtains rods for my new curtains and the screws that came with the rods pulled out of the wall. I was annoyed! I researched You Tube and discovered I needed Molly screws and I ended up finding these for paneling. They are actually for dry wall but they worked wonderfully on my paneling. I only messed one of them up! They are easy to use and they work great. I am a widow and even though I have always done things myself around the house unless it was too hard or heavy, I had NO idea about Molly screws! I LOVE Amazon. A person can find ANYTHING you need here. I paid extra for rush delivery and they came when I expected them. Thanks Topzone!!! (BTW just FYI, when using these, hammer them into the desired place until they are flush with the wall, take your power screw driver and pulse the screw in until there is resistance. The take the screw out and go from there. There are no instructions and I only knew to do that from watching a You Tube video. Otherwise I would have NOT known what to do with them!
