My car has a switchable tune. A is 93 pump gas and B is 8.5 gallons of pump gas with one can of this stuff, estimated to be 100 octane. The Dyno separation is 400HP vs 440HP. My car is a 2013 Subaru BRZ with an aftermarket AVO turbo. The amount of boost I can attain, without pulling timing, using this additive is much higher.

As unbelievable as it sounds, this stuff really works! I built a 383 stroker to run 91 octane pump gas in my rock buggy. I guess I didn't realize that the fuel quality was so poor in California, because I needed to pull out more timing than I wanted. The guy that does the dyno tuning on my Mustang recommended that I try this Torco product; He indicated that he has seen it raise pump gas a few octanes and his dyno results and KO sensors prove it.After trying a can of this on my 16 gal fuel tank, I could visibly notice the change by watching my AFRs and timing on my laptop. I ended up getting 3 more degrees of timing at WOT than with just straight 91 octane California pump gas. Since this isn't a daily driver, the added cost of adding a can of this to every tank is worth it to me so I can get the most out of my engine.

The price is reasonable and the performance has met my expectations. I did a lot of research into what the best octane booster for the least amount of money is and Torco was the name that came up as the most reliable octane booster for the price. There are a lot of options out there and only a few of them actually boost your fuels octane rating effectively. I used to run Nos and 104+, which yes, they worked. But not as well as the Torco and a few other brands. The main issue there is that I can stop at almost any auto parts store or some of your larger retailers and pick up the Nos and the 104+, where for the better performing brands I have to think ahead and order them online. The reason I wanted an octane booster is just basically for peace of mind. I'm not running a tune for higher octane and relying on octane boosters to boost the 93 octane pump gas to 95 octane or whatever. I'm tuned for 93 octane pump gas and I'm adding half a can of Torco at each fill up just to give me a little bit of a cushion to help prevent knock. So far I haven't had any issues with knock, so I'm gonna keep using this stuff. It does literally add $10 per tank of gas. But when you think about the amount of money I have invested in my motor, that's a small price to pay to keep it in one piece.I'm running a 550+ AWHP Evo X. Tuned by Buschur Racing with their 2.2L stroker kit in a sleeved block, their race head, EFR 8374 twin scroll turbo tuned for 93 octane pump gas on their Mustang Dyno. So I'm pushing pump gas to the limit of its capabilities for sure. Which is why the Torco is well worth the price. I can't get anything higher than 93 octane where I live and I can't get race gas or Ethanol either, not at the pumps anyway. My only issue with the cans of Torco is the red seal each can comes with to prevent leaking. I totally understand the need for it, but it's a total pain to get it out if you don't have any tools handy. And I always add half a bottle at the pump, so I usually don't have any way to get that thing off. It needs a tab or something that makes it easier to remove.

My 2012 5.0 (VMP supercharged 600+RWHP) has clocked over 55,000 miles in 4 years as my daily driver. My tune is for 93 octane, so I use 1/4 to 1/2 a bottle of Torco at every fill-up for piece of mind. I'm still running strong and not a single engine issue. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't have access to >93 octane but has a 93 octane tune. The seller has a great turn around time too. All in all, I don't have a bad word to say about ANYTHING..
