Patented Design
The patented (US Patent No. D843,666) StretchTec Shoulder Relief Girth is the most technologically advanced girth available. Not only does it redirect the saddle's billet line to protect the shoulder from saddle impingement, but it also stretches in proportion over a horse's sternum for better breathing.
Shoulder Freedom
The StretchTec Shoulder Relief Girth actually changes the position and angle of the billets to prevent the saddle from interfering with the shoulder. The center of the girth is set forward to sit in the horse’s natural girth groove, while the sides attach to the billets farther back on the horse's body. This prevents the girth from pulling the saddle into the shoulder's range of motion.
Better Breathing
The triangular center elastic allows the StretchTec Shoulder Relief Girth to expand with the 1.5 cm chest expansion that horses experience while breathing. Its design also allows it to stretch in a more anatomically friendly way to contour better to a horse's barrel and provide even contact through the sternum area.
Thoughtful Hardware
Recent updates include a V-Stretch D ring design, which centers the D ring to function just like a D ring on a traditional girth.

My mare was a little cinchy no matter which one I used, and I have tried many- She is obviously comfortable in this and works great for me. I use a treeless saddle and this has the saddle staying in place, no more slipping. We love it! Worth every penny.

Count me as a convert to this TFS girth. I borrowed my trainer’s before buying my own & it does a much better job keeping my dressage saddle in place than the traditional straight style girth. I love knowing it has a little elastic give for my horse’s comfort too. Very well made. No complaints. It’s several inches longer than my traditional dressage girth, even though they are both size 28. My trainer owns several sizes, so luckily I knew the right size for my horse before ordering.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE! I have two draft ponies - a Norwegian Fjord and a Gypsy Vanner. The Fjord, especially, is difficult to fit because he's short of 'fluffy' (read that as fat) and, as a result, his shoulders don't keep the saddle from sliding too far to the front when I'm riding. So, on the advice of my coach, I bought one of these for Bennie! Voila! He's comfortable and no more 'saddle slide'. It's also a very comfortable girth so I bought one for my Gypsy (even though he's at a great weight and not fat like my Fjord.) The girths are a little pricey and I'm usually very cost conscious so you know that I have to be totally in love with these girths to spend that kind of money on them.

No rubbing, no girth anger and a fabulous reach from the shoulder! I have the stretch Tec and the standard Total Saddle Fit leather girths for my dressage horse. Would highly, highly recommend them both but for my mare, the stretch tec made a HUGE difference in both happiness and comfort. It is a very secure girth that moves with the horse. There is a cover for it if you have rubbing (I have had none and have used it 5 days a week for 2 months). The leather is beautiful, soft, cleans up well. Worth the investment.
