Firstly very nice looking pieces. Unfortunately the first one I bought was split by a crack and the tines had slivered wood. The return one was split at the inlay and the tines were also very rough at some of the edges like splinters edges. Both were not in original packaging just loose in the Amazon bag with the product card in it.They were not attached to anything.

Received these as a gift. ( I already have something similar, which I don't use/don't like) these however, in addition to being pretty are highly functional due to the design. (I Like the knobs on the side for ease of use)

These just arrived so I can only comment on how they look and feel new. The quality seems to be top-notch and they are gorgeous! The Baltique brand is laser etched on the underside, which feels "high end." See photos for a sense of size, shape and ergonomic styling -- as well as how they rest on the bowl rim.Time will tell about their durability and I will report back later if there are issues. These were purchased as part of the galley equipment for Just Breeze, a new sailboat going into the Charter Fleet at San Juan Sailing in Bellingham, Washington. They should get lots of use by charter guest as well as our family -- so they need to hold up!I chose this design because the upholstery in the salon is ocean blue and the wood in the cabin is light oak. The colored birch wood salad hands will be a beautiful centerpiece to meals enjoyed by charter guests. Also, the pegs that keep the hands resting on the side of the bowl will mean easier cleanup below decks. My only regret is that I didn't order the matching salad bowl (now out of stock). I will be watching for its return to inventory!
