These shopping carts require some assembly upon arrival. And you will also need superglue or another glue that works on plastic. They are pretty flimsy, so I would not recommend these if you are using them for play. Maybe you could use them if they were for display purposes only. One of the two broke as we were assembling it. The notches that help the shopping cart pieces fit together broke off while we were pushing the pieces together (see picture that has the broken shopping cart next to the assembly instructions). The other shopping cart we assembled without breakage but a wheel fell off within five minutes, so we harvested a replacement from the broken shopping cart. (And that's when I decided to superglue it together.)I think you get what you pay for here - if you are okay with some assembly being required, needing some glue, and this is more for looking at than play, this could save you some money. If you want a small dollhouse shopping cart that will be actually be used for play, I would look elsewhere.

The first thing you will notice is that you don't get two shopping cart toys. What you get is two shopping cart toy KITS. Assembly is tedious because the parts are small, the plastic material is fairly thin and not sturdy at all. In fact, one of the parts broke during assembly which makes one cart just a small pile of parts. Once assembled, I don't think anyone could actually play with these---especially a kid. They are just too flimsy and the parts too small (and loose fitting).Had I not received this item courtesy of Vine, I'd definitely be sending it back.
