It isn't noted in the description but this bit slides up and down several cm on the shanks. If you have a horse that really likes to fuss at the bit, maybe it's for you, but my horse hated it. I wanted to note this because this item is non-returnable.

If installed and used correctly, this is a great bit. My gelding does so much better than this as a step down from the correction port he was in when I started with him.

The dog bone is all pitted and the shanks look awful. Extremely poor construction and extremely unattractive.

Have a mare that doesn't need much. Bought for the roller aspect, she attends to get bored. It's perfect, good deal for the money!
