Didn't even last a few weeks of occasional use before the material holding the clip on started fraying as it wasn't secured like other lead ropes I've had. By now it has completely come apart and isn't safe to use with the horses as just one tug and it would come off. Complete waste of money but can't find a way to get a refund. Save your money, buy something else.

These are a great price and good for walking an already trained calf, but not great for training them to stand tied. The rope came loose from the bolt snap on the end the first time we tied the calf with it. It was not secured very well, luckily the calf was tied inside a paddock and had no where to go once the rope broke. For the price we'll still buy these for walking calves, but for training to stand tied we will use a little heavier poly rope and snap.

Santa brought this to my daughter for Christmas who is a horse enthusiastic her favorite colors are pink purple, blue and blue. This did not even last three weeks before the handle part ripped apart and disintegrated into a bunch of threads and is no longer usable so it absolutely is not worth the price, this didn’t even last a month and she only rides twice a week …

These lead ropes come in very attractive colors! They are very sturdy and have heavy duty clips. They are just the right length for halter training or tie-out.

My daughter used it, within the 5th time the part that is connected to the actual rope it’s self ripped apart. It was still usable but it made us nervous that it would rip when a leading a horse. A little bit later the actual snap came undone from the rope, when it was in a bag, don’t recommend using it could be dangerous especially with a young horse who gets spooked from the chain breaking off and runs away. Only part nice is the vibrant color and sturdy snap.
