My horse wears this to limit grazing. He doesn’t resist wearing it. It stays on & seems durable. Price was reasonable for what appears to be good quality.

The Muzzle itself is nice and seems to be great quality and comfortable for horses! The bad part is that they don’t have a size chart and when I ordered the muzzle I selected the horse one and received one for a mini horse! very disappointed!!

I've got three horses who used to end up in the Low Cal Corral all summer until I found this muzzle. None of the others I have tried have the fit and durability to actually stay on the horses and last all season. Occassionally, I'll even get a second summer out of one. Lasting all season is stellar performance keeping in mind that my horses are serious about energy conservation - they wear their muzzles continuously from the first of the spring flush till frost. My only suggestion for improvement to the manufacturer is the velcro breakaway on the left side of the headstall needs some re-engineering. It has sharp corners that, until I figured out needed padded up with vet wrap, will rub a raw spot on the side of the horses' head. Otherwise, awesome! Thanks for a great product that allows my horses the freedom to roam like a real horse instead of living in a quarter acre drylot all summer.

This muzzle is fantastic. My horse has been wearing it for two weeks with no issues. He has not gotten it off and does not appear to be trying. He tried many times to get the other muzzle off of a different brand. He has rolled and ground his head into the ground and it stays in place. My only caution is it does seem to run a little small. My horses is more a cob size but has a bigger head so his halters and bridles are horse size. He barely fit into the horse size. It fits him well but I had to let all the straps out to the end of their length. I think had he been a true horse size it would have been too small. I am not seeing any rubs so far. I could go on and on how much I love this muzzle

I've only had it for two days now, but so far it's working great. My 3 year old filly is an air-fern - it seems like she breathes the air and gets fat on it. She is Arab/Azteca, 15.2 with a refined head - Horse size fits her pretty well.My horses all live 24/7 on pasture. I don't want to separate her from the other horses, and locking her in a dry pen would just reduce her exercise, adding to her weight problem. With the grazing muzzle she can stay out with the other horses, move around all day and graze without getting too much. When I first turned her out in it, she got it off in about 10 minutes. I adjusted the halter a bit tighter, and that did the trick. It took her about 2 hours to figure out how to eat with it, and now she is happily grazing along side of the other horses.I'm currently leaving it on her all day (8-10 hours), off at night. If she doesn't noticeably lose weight on that schedule, I will try keeping it on her at night as well. I will try to update my post after using it for a while longer as I cannot speak to it's durability, etc.Update: The first muzzle lasted about 6 months before she wore through the hole. Some stitching came out on the strapping of the muzzle itself, but this did not effect the performance of the muzzle. The replacement muzzle has only been worn for a few weeks as it did it's job - she is down to a BCS of about 5 (started at a 7-8) and looking good! As it is winter and there isn't much grass she is not wearing it currently. The grass will start up soon, and when it does, the muzzle will go on as needed to maintain her at the proper weight.Update #2: It's about a year and a half since my original purchase. I'm still finding that the muzzles last about 6 months with pretty much continuous wear. Earlier in the spring I switched to another brand of muzzle with a smaller hole as she was getting too much grass, but the other muzzle rubbed her face raw, especially under the jaw area, so I had to go back to the Easy Breathe (which doesn't rub her face), combined with a few hours a day of confinement. I REALLY wish the Easy Breathe came in a model with a smaller opening!

In all, I like this product. I previously bought the regular Tough 1 muzzle and this easy breathe model lacks the very strong and unpleasant rubber odor that the other one had. My equines were very sensitive to the odor and went nuts when I tried to put the muzzle on them and so I'm glad I don't have to deal with that here.Another plus side are the easy breathe holes. This goes a long way to keep my horse comfortable on hot days when she really needs her nostrils free to ventilate all that excess heat. Now that I have this mask it makes the other one appear miserable to wear. She has not resisted this muzzle and think it is due to this comfort enhancing feature. On the down side, I was surprised to see the the velcro strap on the breakaway bit is much shorter than the regular model and naturally this makes the hold weaker. I don't know yet whether it will give me problems, but it is a point of concern. Also, for my quarter horse I ordered the horse size and it fits, but just barely. The muzzle came with the straps at their loosest setting and when I put it on my mare she barely had any room between the end of the muzzle and her mouth. Of course, this space is necessary to prevent rubbing. However, since there is some space I think it will probably be ok. I would feel more comfortable though if further adjustments were possible and I had even the tinniest bit of wiggle room on the fit, but I don't. My horse is about 15.2 or 15.3 with a normal sized head for her size. I've never had to buy anything but regular horse sized headgear for her before so I'd say this product must run a little small. Though the straps were short, the basket circumference was more than ample. Go figure!
