Works great. Replacement for my Ryobi gas trimmer. Original was pretty beat up and not working as it should. This so far has been a good replacement.

The directions are simple enough, it fit right up with no problems. It converted my intell-feed Ego to a more traditional, and more intuitive bump-head trimmer. I love my Ego, but the feed just doesn't cut it. Now, I'm loving it more. I only have two hours on this trimmer head, I can't guess how durable it will be, but I'm hoping it lasts at least one summer!

This thing works great! It’s a little hard to get the new string on it, you have to depress the bump head to insert the new string.

[Jan 2025 - Review of 'TOUSSAINT Universal Fit String Trimmer Replacement Bump Head, Bump Feed Trimmer Head for Echo, Ego, We...' ]This is a well-constructed, sturdy string trimmer bump head (even though it's mostly made of thick plastic). There is a selection of threaded nuts which means the head will fit many left handed trimmer shaft threads. It's easy to use and the bump feature works well. As always, the plastic dome head does get scratched and will eventually wear through. However, you're hitting it on the ground frequently to get more line to feed, so that's just the nature of the beast. It would be cool if someone would make one of these bump heads with a metal cover over the dome, but as far as I know there aren't any like that.Anyway, my only piece of advice: If you're not familiar with how to set up trimmer heads like this - Watch the short video that's uploaded to the Amazon page by the seller. It shows clearly how to install the head and thread the cutting line.

Once you watch the video, it is the most simple weed eater head replacement I’ve ever used. No frustration! No tangled trimmer lines! Takes about two minutes to install. The bumper actually works perfectly and changing the line is so simple. A child could do it. No hassle. It made my day! I have a Ryobi battery 40 V. I would think that it would fit any weedeater on the market with all the different. bolt sizes
