This one was the right thickness. It is soft but warm. I got a size larger for my grandson as he likes the robe a little longer.

My son likes to be cozy. This works great. It is pretty big in circumference though. Would buy this again.

My 11 year old asked for a bathrobe for his birthday (all about the comfort) so I spent a lot of time researching the perfect one for him. He has room to grow while it is not too big. He described it as being as comfortable and soft as my most comfortable blanket....which is a huge praise since my blanket is amazing. Highly recommend.
