Without a clear description on the product page or even the packaging I honestly didn't know what this product's intended purpose was, thinking that maybe they could be used for hand warmers or drying my ski gloves overnight when skiing multiple days in a row. After a little research I found that the heaters apparently are meant to warm up certain types of adult toys that are made out of silicone or TPE, and then the drying sticks are meant to help remove any moisture after you're done with the toy and have cleaned it out. I don't have any of the type of toys that these would be used with but I did test them out at my desk and with gloves. One thing I thought is that they were going to be two separate heating sticks, each with their own cord, but really it is one USB cable that splits into the cords for the two heaters. I would have liked them to be separate but I guess they are still OK with them being together. When I plugged them in they started flashing green and red and the product page says that this means "heating complete" so I thought there was something wrong with them but then I noticed that they actually were heating up. My IR thermometer shows that they don't heat evenly at all, getting very hot in some places and staying much cooler in others. Most of the surface area was around 120 F (49 C), with hot spots just over 140 F (60 C) and cooler spots around 95 F (35 C).The next thing I noticed is that after a bit the lights went off but they were still hot, and then after a bit longer they came back on- again flashing red and green. They then went off again for a bit and then back on. When monitoring them with the thermometer I left them on for about and hour and they continually did the on/off cycle and apparently this is how it regulates its temperature because during this time they never got warmer or cooler than the temps I mentioned. I guess this is functional but I really don't like that the LEDs completely go off, making you think they are actually off, and then they come back on.I tried these out with my ski gloves, with one heater and one drying stick in each, and these worked great for that. But because of the hot spots being so hot, I don't plan to use them as hand warmers.

In my test, I heated up a toy by simply plugging the heater into a USB outlet. After a few minutes the heater turned off and the toy was the perfect temperature. So I would say that it worked as expected and intended. As an experiment, I decided to hold the heater in my hand along with a thermometer until it was finished and I could see that it shut off almost exactly at 99 degrees and never got too hot to touch. Overall, this is a great device for heating a toy. I also tried the included drying sticks and they worked as expected as well. I'd say they are a good value for the money. They might also make good hand warmers for winter excursions.

AWFUL. DO NOT BUY. Wouldn’t properly connect to ANY USB port. Faulty construction as it will not maintain contact. Can’t return now as I cut their USB connector off to replace their USB end with one of my own, as I needed it before I could get a replacement. Had previously had a single one of these that didn’t last very long and got too hot. This company SUCKS. DO NOT BUY THIS CHINESE GARBAGE.

Decent price and good value, especially since it comes with 4 drying sticks. The reason why it lost 1 star bc I wish the heater stick had separate cords instead of being combined and it doesn't provide a wall charger. The cord is durable and despite being in a different language once you plug it in the heater rod it heats up right away. And yes works as advertised it'll turn off by itself once the LED lights turn off. Now it might be confusing at first once you plug it in because it flashes red and green alternatively but it just shows it's working and heating up soon. Once the lights turn off means it's done heating. Now let's say you have more toys to dry with and you are afraid that you might need to wait 30 minutes or an hour for the heater rod to cool down, No Problem! Simply unplug the cord and plug it right in and it is back to business. Another side note once you are completely done using the heater rod also use disinfecting wipes to clean the heater rod even though your toy is completely sanitized with soap or whatever solution you use to clean with just to be extra safe you also don't want your heater rods to be stinky.
