The value of the packaging is comparable to what is being packaged. The toy ukulele cannot be properly tuned, nor will it hold whatever tuning you give it. I state this only to highlight the fact that these are plastic toys, with a price tag that far exceeds their value. These are precisely the kind of items I see in discount warehouses for $5 - $10. To be asked to pay more is insulting. Good thing it was purchased for a 2 year old who'll likely use it more for knocking heads off dolls than learning to play music.

Our kids enjoy banging out tunes (or attempting to) on whatever device they can find. I am hoping this toy will help them learn more and expand their musical interests. It's not really a professional musical instrument, but nevertheless can cultivate a desire for music and enjoyment to play.

My son is 3 and he loves music. He doesn’t really know how to play the instruments, but he loves holding them and making noises with his mouth and pretending to play them. The key on the ukulele don’t hold the strings tight enough, but I wasn’t really expecting much. The harmonica plays fine, which I was pleasantly surprised about. If you are looking for real instruments don’t get this, but if you are looking for something your little one will love pretending with I recommend this set 100%.
