TPS APPS Throttle Position Sensor for 1998-2004 Dodge Ram Cummins 2500 3500 Diesel Bell Crank 5.9L Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor. The throttle position sensor gives information to the ECM (Engine Control Module) about the position of the pedal determining the speed at which the driver is pushing on the accelerator pedal. It is located at the front driver side of the engine inside the bell crank assembly housing in between the cylinder head and batter.

Once installed this sensor only worked for a couple hours and then broke. Ended up having to buy the expensive one from local shop and havenβt had a problem since installing the expensive one. Do not buy this is a waste of money!

Decided to diagnose a no power on our 35K Taylor Fork truck with the Cummins in it.Taylor service wanted to sell me an entire pedal Assm for 1000.00 plus service call.A little research and came up with this.After installing and a quick calibration it cured the problem. Iβm going to buy a spare in case itβs a Chinese POS but for now saved me a bundle

Works so far for my 2003 Dodge Ram 3500. Was fairly easy to install. If it fails sooner than expected I will repost review.
