The seat was advertised as proper fitment for my John Deere 4710 tractor. No mention of modifications being necessary in the Amazon advertisement. The directions enclosed with the seat stated that adaptors may be necessary for proper fitment on some tractors. It makes no mention of where to procure these adaptors or any details about them. I would have needed to add spacers at the mounting points, modify the seat belt system on the tractor along with other modifications for it to fit. I do not want to modify my tractor therefore I returned the seat which was advertised by Amazon as eligible for free returns. However I was hit with an $18.66 restocking fee and $34.42 Return Shipping fee deduction. I received a $180.10 refund on a $219.98 purchase. This is very unjust! I buy something several times a week on Amazon and this is the first time I have been fleeced by a vendor!
