One of our trailers failed inspection because the break-away switch had corroded and was no longer functional, so we had to put this in it's place. Bolted right in, and worked perfectly, we passed inspection and are once again safe going down the road!

I ordered this specifically for the coiled wire that connects my vehicle to the breakaway switch. I got lucky, I think, because it fit the existing trailer side receptacle. That said, for anybody else looking to build their trailer to comply with regulations, this breakaway kit will do the job. It has everything you need for the switch as long as you are wired and have a battery ready to go.I am happy with my order and I hope this was helpful. ✔️ Thanks!
