Although there is no way to tell if it works without dyno, it did do the job I needed it to in lifting the air cleaner and carb over the distributor.

It is a smip off from perfect hole alignment but u can make it work (dropped 1 star). I used 2 of the 1/4 in thick gaskets to make it 1.5 in. Also got a 1/8in steel rod to make the divorced choke rod. Also do not forget to check the kickdown (TV) cable to see if it needs aligned as you are extending the distance slightly. If you use the thicker gaskets you will need to get a 5in bolt for the front (5/16), the back studs will work fineNoticeable increase in performance as there is more air available in the intake Manifold. Also will help the carb to stay cooler. Wanted a 2in but could not find one that fit, thinking about getting another one and stack them
