It’s the right part for the job. Unfortunately it didn’t solve the problem. I replaced the shifting solenoid still didn’t fix the issue. Finally I watched about 30 YouTube videos and even though I replaced my alternator a year ago, I replaced it again. Problem solved. Electrical interference.
