Traxxas Certified iD-Equipped LiPo batteries provide the punch and power to reach maximum speed. They come in a full range of capacities and configurations. Traxxas iD-Equipped LiPo batteries are engineered to fit Traxxas models perfectly and maximize their potential. Only Traxxas gives you more of what you want: simple installation, a great price, and the most speed and run time available. The patented Traxxas High-Current connector is the standard for efficiency, ease of use, and high-current handling. The balance leads are integrated into the connector eliminating separate balance wires and connectors as well as external balance boards. The Traxxas High-Current Connector allows current to flow freely with virtually zero voltage loss due to resistance. Large, textured surfaces provide good grip and the reverse-polarity protection makes them virtually impossible to plug in backwards. Shrouded wire connections eliminate the need for heat shrink tubing. Beefy, gold-plated copper terminals with large, spring-loaded contact areas ensure a perfect connection every time. Traxxas iD-Equipped Power Cell LiPo packs use a unique construction that results in a firm, rugged, and compact pack that does not require a hard case. This gives them greater capacity and allows the user to monitor the condition of the battery. Unlike a hard-cased pack, if a Power Cell LiPo "puffs" or softens due to damage or abuse, the user can easily see and feel the change in the pack. Power Cell LiPos are constructed of premium cells with extra-wide discharge tabs to maximize their performance. Power Cell LiPo packs feature low resistance 12-gauge Maxx Cable wire, soldered directly to the LiPo cells to minimize resistance. Traxxas offers the best battery warranty and exchange program available. For the first year, Traxxas will replace any battery found to be defective at no cost. After one year, any Power Cell LiPo battery can be exchanged for a new equivalent for just 50% of the retail price.

Be sure to store these at the recommended voltage. Just need to know what your doing these mechines are not toys they are adult hobby battery's. Seriously stong power from these. And the more power the more that can go wrong. Just keep that in mind. don't slam the manufacturer cause you can't follow guidelines on hazardous material.

Oem replacement. Just be sure if you are storing batteries for or not using for a couple of days to “store charge” the batteries so they do not expand. Also use a battery fire resistant bag to charge them in.Happy with the performance of these batteries.

Traxxas chargers suck and so do the connectors. Cut them off and use something else.

Update: I have a large full service hobby store nearby that sells this brand and has reported to me that these are just very delicate batteries. It's as simple as that. Do not leave your machine on after you're done with it. Even if you're not using it, the batteries will drain out and when they drain out I think they can be resuscitated. I don't know how to do it. They didn't want to get into it. If you have the budget just to buy new ones you might want to do that. But if you don't, I think you can resuscitate yours. Anyway, that's the bottom line on these. These are pushing the envelope of lithium technology and that's just how it is. You're playing with a lot of technology and the benefit is amazing performance. But with drawbacks simple as that. Here's my original review.... You can disregard it. Now that I have found a local shop to advise me, I'm in good hands. And it's fine that it's from Amazon. They don't have a problem with that.I don't really understand maybe somebody can enlighten me. But these will no longer take a charge. I use them once having completely top them off as per instructions. What's also annoying is I don't know what the replacement is for these. I'm just not that into The hobby I guess. All I know is I've lost $600 worth of batteries in one day of driving this thing around my yard. Granted I have a huge yard and I was going straight out. There was a little bit of moisture on the grass maybe that had something to do with it. But this is unacceptable and my last adventure with this Traxxas brand was not good either

Works as expected, and a good factory replacement for the xmaxx.. Please heed the warnings and do not try to charge if the Traxxas charger will not charge it. Send it back to them for a replacement for half price. If it's puffy and/or doesn't charge it is damaged.

Batteries last a long time. If you have issues with the batteries return them to traxxas , the are under warranty for a year. Read the instructions on the battery. Only use their charger. They won't last forever no matter how much care you give them but 50 to 80 charge cycles should about be all you get. Do not leave them in the vehicle after they die, charge them or charge store them as soon as you can, no more than a day or so or they will not charge if they have been left connected to the rc vehicle. Once the battery gets below a certain voltage as indicated on the battery you can not restore the battery, you might " jump" it however you run the risk of explosion. LIPO batteries are dangerous and extreme care should always be priority.
